Custom Design Steps

  • 1. Inquiry

    The first step is to fill out our Project Inquiry Form. It’s just a few quick questions about your project and your business. Let’s get started!

  • 2. Discovery

    Our next step will be scheduling a 1-on-1 phone call. This lets us get to know your business, what you’re looking to achieve, and how we can help you with our design services to reach your goals.

  • 3. Proposal

    We’ll create a detailed, custom proposal focused on your unique project goals and budget. Once we’ve finalized and agreed upon package details, we will schedule a project start date.

  • 4. Onboard

    This is where the real fun begins! After onboarding to our client portal, you’ll receive a detailed questionnaire deep dive into your vision, brand and target audience. You’ll also submit your copy, images and branding documents.

  • 5. Strategy

    We’ll create a comprehensive design strategy document and presentation based on your defined project goals. You’ll give feedback on all aspects of the project strategy as we fine tune our mutual vision for your project.

  • 6. Design

    Next, we’ll create a mock-up design of your homepage along with examples of other key elements such as blog and shop using Adobe XD. We’ll meet to go over the details for your review before the site is built in Squarespace.

  • 7. Develop

    Here’s where we build your website directly in Squarespace! We’ll create your unique website, while maintaining the simplicity and ease of Squarespace so you can feel confident managing your site into the future.

  • 8. Launch

    This is when we connect your domain, test and backup your site and go through the SEO and accessibility checklists. Once you are completely satisfied and all links and integrations are tested, your new website will be ready to launch!

  • 9. Hand-off

    You take over ownership and control of your new website! We’ll walk you through your new site and provide tutorial videos on how to update and manage your content along with providing 1 month of support.

  • First, fill out our Project Inquiry Form so we can set up an initial discovery call to learn more about you and your project! Next, we will create a custom proposal tailored to your projects needs. Once you approve the proposal, we can schedule your project!

  • Typically a full custom Squarespace 7.1 Design and Build project will take at least 6 weeks from start to finish. Logo and branding projects may take less time. Fill out our Project Inquiry Form so we can connect and discuss your specific project and timing needs.

  • We will provide you with a Discovery Questionnaire and customized Website Content Guide to help you submit everything we need to build your new custom website. In general this will include logos, branding, images and written copy for your website. Get started by completing our Project Inquiry Form so we can discuss your specific needs!

  • Your brand is arguably one of your organization's most important assets. It gives your organization an identity, makes your business memorable and creates customer loyalty. Branding is important to have in place for your website. If you don’t have branding yet, get in touch so we can discuss creating a custom branding guide for you! You can start by filling out our Project Inquiry Form and we’ll get back to you to set up an initial call.

  • The written content, or copy, is a critical component of your website. It's vital to make sure your copy is compelling. That means focusing on brand consistency, hitting the right tone, and encouraging your audience to take specific actions.

    One of your first steps with us will be completing our Website Content Guide. It will help you with your copy, but if you think you are going to need additional help, just let us know when you complete the Project Inquiry Form so we can discuss some options.

  • We’re excited to get started too! The first step is filling out our Project Inquiry Form so we can schedule a phone call to see what your project involves and get you on the schedule!

  • We require 1/3 payment upon scheduling your project, 1/3 upon starting the project and the remaining 1/3 upon completion. Once the final payment has been made, you will receive all files and ownership of your new custom website!
